You'd think with his brain and his love of computers, the DigiWorld would be the perfect place for him, but Izzy gets so wrapped up in his own thoughts and projects that he doesn't see the danger around him. He's a 10-year-old fourth-grader at Odaiba, and naturally, he carries the Knowledge crest.

He's a pessimist and a hypochondriac and so much more; he's convinced that if anything can go wrong it will. In fact, he worries so much that he almost throws himself into a panic time after time. And here's the scarry part: Many times he's right.Joe's worrying comes from a good place, too. Since he's the oldest -- he's a 12-year-old sixth-grader -- he feels responsible and wants to protect the others. Joe's crest is Reliability.

She just has trouble understanding what is going on around her. Back home she's a 10-year-old fourth-grader. Her crest is Sincerity.

His little sister, Kari, is also one of the Chosen Children. Back in the real world, he's an 11-year-old fifth-grader at Odaiba Elementary School. Naturally, his crest is Courage.

T.K. is thrilled to be spending so much time with Matt. Their parents are divorced and they don't live together anymore, so T.K. doesn't get to see Matt that often. T.K.'s the youngest member of the group -- an 8-year-old second-grader at Kawada Elementary in real live -- and a real sweet-natured and generous kid. He does what you ask him to but he's a bit of a crybaby. He carries the Hope crest.

A young boy who IS in fact the biggest dreamer. Always playing the Digimon card game with his friends, and drawing them alot and always imaging what it would be like if he had his own Digimon partner... One day though, after finding a mysterious blue card he draws his own fan made Digimon, naming it "Guilmon." When his own D Ark scans through his drawing, and Guilmon comes to life, it's up to him to go through his own Digimon journey as the leader, (and new goggle boy) of the Digimon Tamers.

The best of the Digi battle card game! After winning a tournament from it, she was another lucky child that is able to have a Digimon partner. Choosing Renamon (for wanting the strongest Digimon) there's still more than being a Tamer than fighting that she needs to learn. At first, she seems ruthless and cold-hearted towards all Digimon, but she soon improves when she learns that when her own Digimon's life is at stake...

Even though there aresix people in his family, him and his siter are the only ones lucky enough to have thier own Digimon. With Terriermon's "Momantai" in the toughest situations...it doesn't always make Jen's time a wlak in the park.

When coming across a wounded Andromon, he stands by his side and after evolving back to Guardromon and helping him out, he soon becomes a Tamer himself. How happy Hiro is then^^

Another Digi-Fan like Hiro, always playing the card game and wishing to have his own Digimon. Also going to the Digital World as well, he envies the others for all having patners but him... Kenta soon does get his own partner, MarineAngemon in episode 41. With his size in this case, I guess you can call him a "Pocket Monster."

She is just a joyful little kid^^ Playing with Terriermon, having fun, just living life at its funest. Of course, thinking Terriermon was only a toy, she soon finds out it is a living creature. When playing at a park one day, she got transported to the Digital World and met Antiramon, a Deva guarding an secret place. After the rabbit plays with her and she's almost captured by Makuramon, he betrays the Soverign and saves her form him. His Deva powers are eliminated and evolves back into Lopmon. Shao is as happy as she could possibly be and is made Tamer. But that won't be the last you'll see of the giant rabbit...

In late 1999, Ryo is sent a digivice. He proceeds to enter the Digiworld, where he meats up with Agumon. He helps Rescue Tai and the other 01 Digidestined from Milleniumon. Then later after witnessing the battle between Omnimon (Omegamon) and Diaboromon (Diablomon) Ryo receives the first D-3. . He is summoned to the Digiworld again, but this time with Ken. They find Milleniumon still alive, and after defeating him they seal him into the dark crystal. However, upon his defeat Milleniumon releases the dark spores. One of these aims for Ryo but Ken takes it instead. Again around 2000-01, Ryo is called. This time to participate in the D-1 tournament. Ryo wins, but he has to face Moon=Milleniumon. Ryo ends up getting thrown into a time warp. He awakes in the Digiworld at its beginning and meats Monodramon. Monodramon leads Ryo to the first computer. This computer gives Ryo the power to travel between dimensions. Eventually, he faces (Zeed?) Milleniumon. He reveals that he was Ryo's original partner. After an argument between Milleniumon and Monodramon, A fusion occurs resulting in the feral Cyberdramon. With this, Ryo decides to stay in the Tamer’s dimension.

In the Tamers dimension, Ryo was a legendary card player, even besting Rika (Ruki). He entered the Digiworld because Cyberdramon was too feral to keep in the real world. In episode 28 he appears with Cyberdramon to stop Megadramon. And stays with them during the next episode, slashing one of the 6 devise cards, the Kings Devise. This causes Cyberdramon to grow and he destroys Majiramon. They then have to leave the group to satisfy Cyberdramon’s thirst for blood. They eventually run into the Digiworld Guardians and Cyberdramon dedigivolves to Monodramon. They joins the other in the Ark and travels back to the real world. He then meets up with a man who seems to be his father. In episode 46 Justimon will appear.

Alice is the daughter of Rob McCoy. He is a member of the Wild Bunch, the group that created Digimon. Alice was supposed to get the Digital Glide to the Tamers. The Digital Glide was in the form of Dobermon. He is NOT her partner. Alice is not a Tamer.

Takuya Kanbara

This cheerful, energetic 5th grader has a strong sense of justice. He's very athletic and is a member of the soccer club. He's hot-blooded and tends to act before he thinks, and because of that often has conflicts with his friends.


Kouji Minamoto

This cool 5th grader is a bit of a lonewolf. His father's circumstances have caused him to change schools many times, and because of this he's not very good at making friends. But when his friends are in a pinch, he'll rush to help them without even thinking of the danger he's putting himself in.


Junpei Shibayama

A cool-headed and watchful 6th grader who likes fortunetelling with playing cards. He's not very good at studying, but he's very knowlegable about various things like trains, stamps, and cards.


Izumi Orimoto

This 5th grader has just returned from living in Italy for two years. She speaks her mind freely and appears to be very strong, but she's really looking for true friends.


Tomoki Himi

This 3rd grader tends to rely on others a lot. His older brother never played with him, so instead he played on the computer all the time. He's a little cowardly, but he's very genuine and open about expressing his feelings!
